So, I called my OB/GYN to schedule my first appointment, in preparation of being released from my RE. I felt so proud of myself for being on top of things . . . Yay me!
What does the "appointment coordinator" say? "I will pass your information on to the "OB Coordinator" and she will get back to you within 1-2 business days."
Ummm . . . "OB Coordinator"?!?!?
Now, I know I'm new at this, but "OB Coordinator". Really? So, basically I sat on the phone queue for 10 minutes to be placed on a 1-2 day wait list to be contacted by a coordinator, to make an appointment to eventually see my OB. Hmmmm . . .
Anybody?!?!?!?

You probably wanted an appointment for tomorrow? RELAX and enjoy this joyous time. A beautiful baby growing within, the time you will want to speak with someone right away is when you are in labor.
OK. I won't even go into the drama of finding an OB, finding out that she no longer delivers babies, finding a new OB, and then having to wait 3 MORE weeks before she could fit me in. What a nightmare! I hope you get someone you really like. This is the most important job you'll ever hire out. Good Luck!
